It can provide shelter, protect fragile ecosystems and reduce urban heat islands.

In the UK 63M mattresses are in use, only 16% are recycled. Over half of IKEA mattresses(53%) are spring mattresses, which is hard to disassemble and recycle. This project starts from an analysis of the entire IKEA product line, combined with the impact of the whole furniture industry on the environment. It introduces a mattress that adopts a new origami structure and new materials. It is more hygienic and conducive to recycling. It has potential value comparable to IKEA's honeycomb cardboard-filled panel.

"Fossil stool" is a project to make people rethink the relationship between humans, Chair & Nature. It explores sustainable material for furniture industry. When isomalt(C12H24O11) and Silicone Sand(SiO2) meet hot wire (Ni:Cr/80:20_120v), the material will melt and cover the surface of wire. After cool it will become solid and sturdy. This material is biodegradable and can be used in various applications.
